HASAN AL-BANNA’S CONCEPT ON ISLAMIC MODERATE EDUCATION

Abstract

This article is a qualitative study using analytical methods and approach to the study of literature. Hasan al-Banna is a Muslim reformer who introduced the da’wah movement with educational methods, so that the movement known as the tarbiyah. Typical education in his movements redirect the output to the moderate behavior in religious practices. Hasan Al-Banna’s idea on Islamic moderate education is universal education, non-dichotomous, comprehensive, conceptually, and practically.
